Partnering to scale and adapt the APCNF method globally
Andhra Pradesh Community Managed Natural Farming (APCNF) is the world’s largest agroecology initiative that has scaled from 40,000 to 1 million farmers in India over the past 8 years. APCNF is successful because it integrates the economic success of farmers with strengthening yields and food security, soil and human health, biodiversity and the climate.
Together, NOW Partners Foundation (NOW), Rythu Sadhikara Samstha (RySS) and local partner organizations lead Natural Farming pilots globally to help to implement this outstanding innovation. More than 50 countries have asked for our support in respectfully adapting and scaling APCNF.
RySS is the organization that developed and scaled the Andhra Pradesh Community-managed Natural Farming (APCNF) methodology in India. It was founded by the government of Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with small holder farmers and their communities and networks: www.apcnf.in
NOW is a global, non-profit partnership of more than 100 partners and partner organizations that over past decades have internationally scaled sustainable innovation approaches that integrate the economic success of farmers and other stakeholders with the regeneration of people and societies, nature and the climate: www.now.partners
RySS and NOW collaborate with local and international partners to adapt and scale APCNF in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
